Help
Everything about using this site, in one place. No dead ends.
Taking the screening
The screening has six questions about the past six months and takes about two minutes. You confirm that you are 18 or older and have read the privacy notice, then answer each question with Never, Rarely, Sometimes, Often or Very Often.
No name or email is needed. If you want a link to your result by email, tick the option before starting; we use the address for that link only.
Your progress is kept in your browser until you finish or press Clear saved answers. You can leave and come back on the same device within 24 hours.
Understanding your result
Your result page shows how many of your six answers fall in the screener's shaded range. The instrument's published rule is that four or more shaded answers means further evaluation is warranted. Fewer than four does not rule ADHD out.
The page lists your answers, the points you may want to raise with a professional, suggested next steps for Australia, and the instrument's limitations. It does not give a percentage, a severity band or a probability, because the instrument does not.
To take it further, book a GP appointment. Bring your summary, examples from home, work or study, and if you can, something about what you were like as a child. Ask about the assessment pathway, waiting times and costs. Read more on the instrument page.
The free PDF summary
Everything on your result page is free, including the PDF. Use the download button on your result page to get the same summary as a PDF to print or bring to an appointment. It contains the same information as the screen and no additional analysis.
If you gave an email address and asked for a link, we email a read-only link to your result. You can withdraw that at any time from your result page.
The optional preparation pack
Separately from the free screening, we may offer an appointment preparation pack: a saved, editable workspace for your own everyday examples, history, observation diary, questions and a records checklist, with a printable PDF of exactly what you saved. It costs A$39 (AUD) once and is a writing aid, not a screening, an assessment or a diagnosis. Nothing in it scores or rates you, and every field is optional.
It can be bought only when the operator has switched it on; the preparation pack page always says whether it is currently available. Your workspace opens in the browser you bought it in, from your account if you were signed in, or through a single-use recovery link sent to the email address you gave.
Saving is explicit: the workspace shows whether your edits are saved, unsaved or could not be saved, and it will tell you if the notes were changed in another tab so nothing is overwritten silently. You can export or delete your notes at any time, whatever the payment state.
Payments
The screening, your result and its PDF are free. The only current paid product is the optional preparation pack (A$39 AUD, once), paid through PayPal; we never see or store card numbers or PayPal login details. Coupons cannot be used with PayPal checkout. Historical purchases of older paid summaries were processed by Stripe in Australian dollars. The pack is a digital appointment-preparation tool, not a diagnosis.
If you paid and cannot see your workspace or an older paid summary, contact us with the payment reference from your receipt or card statement and we will check the payment record.
Refunds
For the preparation pack, or an older paid summary, you can ask for a refund within 30 days of purchase by contacting us with your payment reference. Refunds go back to the original payment method and normally take 5 to 10 business days to appear.
After a full refund of the preparation pack, the paid editor and PDF switch off; you can still export or delete your notes. A partial refund does not change access. The free screening and PDF are never affected.
Your data: copy or delete
If you gave an email address, you can request a copy of your screening data or its deletion from the privacy notice. We email a confirmation link; nothing is disclosed or changed until you use it.
Deletion removes your answers, results, name, email, account link and any tracking tags. If you ever paid for an older summary, we keep a minimal payment record (amount, date, payment reference) as required for financial records.
If you did not give an email address, use the Your data controls on your result page in the browser you used: they download your raw data or delete it on our servers. Clearing your browser alone only removes your access; it does not delete the server record. Automatic age-based cleanup is not currently running. Records may remain longer than the targets in our privacy notice, so use the deletion controls if you want your data removed.
Recovering a past result
If you completed a screening earlier and gave an email address, use the recovery page. We email a single-use link that opens your results in the browser you use it in. Links expire after 30 minutes.
Accounts
An account is optional. If you sign in before starting a screening, the result is linked to your account and listed under My results. Screenings taken while signed out are not linked to an account afterwards.
Accessibility and devices
The site works on phones, tablets and computers in a current browser. The screening can be completed with a keyboard or screen reader: each question is a group of radio buttons with visible focus.
If something does not work for you, please tell us through the contact form and describe your device and assistive technology.
