How it works

Three steps, about two minutes, no account needed.

1

Confirm and answer six questions

You confirm you are 18 or older and have read the privacy notice. Then you answer six questions about the past six months, each on the same five-point scale. You can go back and change answers.

Progress is kept in your browser until you finish, so a dropped connection does not lose your answers.

Example item

How often do you have trouble wrapping up the final details of a project, once the challenging parts have been done?

  • Never
  • Rarely
  • Sometimes
  • Often
  • Very Often

What the result page shows

  • • How many of your six answers are in the shaded range, against the published threshold of four
  • • Each question with your answer
  • • Points you may want to raise with a professional
  • • Suggested next steps for Australia and the instrument's limitations
  • • Crisis services, in case you need them
2

See your result, free

Your answers are scored on the server exactly as the instrument publishes: items 1 to 3 count from Sometimes, items 4 to 6 from Often, and four or more means further evaluation is warranted.

There is no percentage, severity band or probability, because the instrument does not produce one and we will not invent one.

3

Print it, free

If you would like the same summary as a PDF to print or bring to an appointment, download it from your result page. It is free and contains nothing that is not already on the page.

No account, payment or email address is needed.

Worth remembering

A screening result is a starting point for a conversation. Diagnosis needs a clinical assessment that looks at childhood history, impact across settings and other possible explanations. If things are affecting your life, talk to a GP whatever the number.
